Nestled in the heart of Prince Edward County, Casa-Dea Estates Winery stands as a beacon of artisanal excellence and one of the region’s most established estates. Since 2000, our journey has been defined by a deep respect for the land and an uncompromising dedication to the craft of VQA winemaking, making us a cornerstone of the vibrant Wellington wine community.

The story of Casa-Dea is one of romance and devotion, tracing back to the humble beginnings of our founder, Domenic Di Pietrantonio. Inspired by his early years working in monastery cellars in Italy and his lifelong love for his wife, Dea—the “Goddess” for whom our winery is named—Domenic has masterfully bridged the gap between his Abruzzi heritage and the unique, limestone-rich terroir of Ontario. With 65 acres of meticulously nurtured vines, we honour this legacy in every bottle.

We believe that fine wine is elevated from a mere product to a true work of art through meticulous attention to detail. From the careful selection of rootstocks and clones to our patient approach to barrel-aging and blending, each step of our process is designed to capture the authentic spirit of The County.
